Nine Canvas Painting with Henna Design

This was a 9 canvas painting.  Each canvas was 10x10in.  I matched the background colors based on the color layout of my friend's room.  This project took me about a month to complete.  Each frame has a different henna design.  Here is a snapshot of each canvas:

I would love to get your feedback on this painting.  I can't decide if I just make another 9 canvas painting.  What do you think?

Here's a Sneak Peak

The newest item I've been working on for the past few nights is something I'm sharing with you. Someone recently purchased a similar canvas. I loved the design so much that I had to recreate it. I did however change the background on this piece. First I used green acrylic paint. Then the next night I decided to do pink tones. When that dried I scraped so that I would have highlights of the green background as well. The results are shown below. Hope you like it!

I'd love to get feedback. So leave a comment.  Don't forget to visit my shop as well. www.mehndiart09.etsy.com

Take care.

Showcased Henna Candles Recently

Hi everyone,

I'm happy to announce that I recently showcased my henna candles at a local bazaar. I received an awesome response from family and friends. Really grateful that they loved my work. Now I'm hoping to sell more of the candles. It was fun to share and also to give. Giving from the heart is such a wonderful feeling. I spent a lot of time and money on preparing for the event, but giving candles away for free was such a wonderful feeling! Hopefully something good will come my way. I'm sure of it.

You too can get something FREE. Just visit my shop as I want to share my work with you. Visit www.mehndiart09.etsy.com.

Art and Craft of Henna

Hello everyone!

Henna is an ancient artform that has existed for thousands of years. It is traditionally done on hands and feet. The artform is done all around the world. It's origin is mostly the Asian and African continents.

My friends would tell you that I'm a crazy henna artist. Until most recently, I was doing henna on hands, and feet. Now, I create my designs on candles. It's an amazing concept. Most of all, I create the designs, seal them, so that they can be admired. The design won't fade like it does on the body.

I am so enjoying my art of henna with you. I want to share it with you all in the hopes that it'll prompt you to visit my shop at www.mehndiart09.etsy.com. This blog will feature many of my designs. I'll post discounts and sales. If you email me at mehndiart09@gmail.com and sign up to receive a newsletter every few months, then I'll give you a 10% discount each time that you make a purchase. Also the newsletter will be loaded with lots of designs, lots of ideas and discounts.

I can create any design. Custom orders are welcome. These will make for perfect wedding party favors, holiday gifts. All candles are handmade, handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces. No two will be exactly alike. What better gift could you give than this!

The first person that reads this post, goes to my website and makes a purchase will receive the following gift along with your purchase.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. Have a wonderful day!

Take care.
